Peters Valley Crafts Center

Five years after teetering on the brink of closure, Peters Valley Craft Center in Sussex County seems to have made a full turnaround. The craft village was having a budget shortfall this year due to state budget cuts for the arts, but supporters rushed in to fill the gap. The center, now in it’s third decade, is preparing a long-range plan to restore its various buildings. (Video by John O’Boyle)

Imam deportation stopped

There was relief and celebration after the court decision that Imam Mohammad Qatanani, leader of the Islamic Center of Passaic County, would not be deported. Immigration judge Alberto J. Riefkohl also granted the Imam residency. Qatanani and his lawyer Claudia Slovinsky comment on the case outside the Newark courtroom. (Video by Scott Lituchy)
