About 400 zombies turned out for the first ever Asbury Park Zombie Walk on Saturday. Digging into their own pockets, organizers Jason and Christina Meehan bought discount costume makeup and approached area makeup artists to help put on the free event. The walk took the zombies all over town where they met people on the streets, bought pizza and coffee and even had a zombie karaoke contest. The Bob Balfour Wonder Morton Theatre Pipe Organ is being officially reintroduced to New Jerseyans this weekend. The organ, located at the Loew’s Jersey movie palace in Jersey City’s Journal Square neighborhood, was painstakingly restored over 11 years.
