Highland Park artists' studio tour

Lucky Jo Boscarino, a carpenter and painter, is one of about 20 artists who will open her home studio to the public on Sunday as part of the Highland Park Arts Commission’s 6th annual Open Studios event. Visitors will have a chance to meet the artists in person, see their work environment, ask questions about their technique and process, or even see a demonstration. Preparing for the Newark Open Doors studio tour

Newark students made the giant painted cardboard puppets that were paraded through part of the city yesterday afternoon with guidance from Terry Brewin, an art teacher at Newark Vocational High. The parade left from the offices of the Barat Foundation on Broad Street, and served to kick off the annual Newark Open Doors studio tour.
