Carla Anderson and Kathleen O’Malley are the eccentric owners of Balance Salon and World of Style Vintage, which share a space in Jersey City. Part hair salon, part art gallery, part vintage clothing store, with a mini-bar thrown in, their shop makes for a unique and eclectic experience. The two are now creating their own reality show. Les Paul, whose inventions include the electric guitar that bears his name and multi-track recording technology that made the Beatles’ “Sgt. Pepper” possible, can add “Fountain of Youth” to the list.
