Eminent domain hits a Long Branch neighborhood

Lou Anzalone, one of the Long Branch home owners, stands to lose his home to eminent domain. Residents of a neighborhood slated to be razed for an oceanfront redevelopment project in Long Branch will get a chance to convince a judge their homes are not blighted under a ruling issued yesterday by a state Appellate panel.
